WSB Mobile: App Downloads for Android, iOS & Huawei
World Sports Betting publishes a dedicated app-download page with a direct Android APK, an App Store listing for iOS, and an AppGallery listing for Huawei phones — unusually complete device coverage for an SA bookmaker. Here's exactly where each one lives and how to install it safely.

One-tap access, just like an app
Get the app from WSB's own site, not a search result. Android users download a direct APK file, since real-money betting apps aren't distributed through Google Play in South Africa. iPhone users get a genuine App Store listing. Huawei users, unusually, get a dedicated AppGallery listing too — something most SA bookmakers don't bother with.
Is There a WSB Mobile Site?
Yes. World Sports Betting works in a phone browser, so you don't have to install anything: open worldsportsbetting.co.za yourself and tap Log In. WSB's own FAQ says you can place a bet from as little as R1 on both desktop and mobile. The login is the same username and password as the app, covered in our WSB login guide.
If your phone is short on storage, the browser version is the simple choice. The app is worth it if you bet often and want it one tap away.
Android: Direct APK Download
WSB hosts its Android app as a direct APK file on its own content platform, the standard route for SA betting apps since Google Play doesn't list real-money gambling apps locally.
- Go to worldsportsbetting.co.za yourself — type the address, don't follow a link from WhatsApp or a search ad.
- Find the WSB Mobile App link (footer or menu) and tap the Android download.
- Android will warn you about installing from an unknown source. This is expected for any app distributed outside Google Play.
- Install and log in. Problems? See our WSB login guide.
Only download the APK from worldsportsbetting.co.za. A repackaged betting APK can look identical to the real one while harvesting your login and banking details as you type them — the same scam pattern as fake "Aviator predictor" apps. If you didn't reach the download from WSB's own site, don't install it.
iOS: App Store
WSB has a genuine listing on the Apple App Store under the name World Sports Betting.
- Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- Search World Sports Betting, or follow the link from WSB's own mobile-app page.
- Tap Get to install.
Huawei: AppGallery
Unusually for an SA bookmaker, WSB also maintains a listing on Huawei AppGallery, for phones that don't run Google Mobile Services. Find it via the WSB Mobile App link on WSB's own site rather than searching AppGallery directly, to make sure you land on the correct listing.
Which Should You Use?
| Device | Source | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Android | Direct APK from worldsportsbetting.co.za | Not on Google Play — expect an "unknown source" warning |
| iPhone / iPad | Apple App Store | Standard install, no warnings |
| Huawei (no Google services) | Huawei AppGallery | Rare for an SA bookmaker to support this at all |
Is the WSB App Safe?
WSB is licensed by both the Western Cape and Mpumalanga gambling boards and has traded since 2002 — the operator itself is regulated and established. The real risk is downloading a look-alike APK from somewhere other than WSB's own site. Stick to the official download paths above and there's nothing to worry about. FAQ
Does WSB have an Android app?
Yes, as a direct APK download from worldsportsbetting.co.za, since real-money gambling apps aren't distributed through Google Play in South Africa. Android will show an "install from unknown source" warning, which is normal for this kind of download.
Is WSB on the Apple App Store?
Yes, under the name World Sports Betting. Search for it directly in the App Store or follow the link from WSB's own mobile-app page.
Does WSB have a Huawei app?
Yes, WSB maintains a listing on Huawei AppGallery, which most South African bookmakers don't bother supporting.
Is it safe to download the WSB APK?
Yes, if you get it from worldsportsbetting.co.za directly. Never install a betting APK from a third-party site, forwarded link or search ad — repackaged fake versions exist that can steal your login and banking details.
Why isn't the WSB app on the Google Play Store?
WSB's own site doesn't explain it. What we can see is that WSB links its Android app as an APK hosted on its own platform, not as a Play Store listing, which is also how the other South African betting apps we cover distribute theirs. Treat any Play Store listing that claims to be WSB with suspicion, and install only from the link on worldsportsbetting.co.za.
Is "World Sporting Bet" the same as WSB?
The operator this guide covers is World Sports Betting (WSB) at worldsportsbetting.co.za, and its App Store listing is named World Sports Betting. If you searched for "world sporting bet", check that the name and web address match exactly before you download or log in anywhere.
Can I use WSB in my phone browser instead of the app?
Yes. WSB works in a mobile browser at worldsportsbetting.co.za, and its FAQ says you can bet from R1 on both desktop and mobile. Log in with the same username and password you use in the app.
